Our school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (2023) and is one of the most popular and successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive schools in the Preston Park area of Brighton, often oversubscribed.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum with many opportunities both in and out of school, including sports, performing arts, student voice, Art, the Duke of Edinburgh award, and various trips. We believe there is something for everyone at Dorothy Stringer School.

The role involves supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning and responding to their needs throughout the day in the Foster Centre (our alternative curriculum centre). The post also includes providing additional support to students and their families to foster positive relationships and support their progress.
