Business Development Manager Waste Management

Remote Based: Covering London Region - London, Aylesbury, Ipswich, London North East, North West London, London South East, London South West, Worcester.

Salary: Up to £50,000 basic OTE £75,000 uncapped!

Role:

As an experienced Business Development Manager, you will be part of a dynamic Waste Management brokerage team covering your allocated region with flexibility for UK-wide travel. Your focus will be on driving new business growth, generating new clients, and managing your own client portfolio to expand it.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Generation / Market Analysis
  2. Develop New Business Opportunities
  3. Build and maintain a steady sales pipeline
  4. Manage your diary to ensure regular customer meetings
  5. Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches
  6. Lead negotiations and close deals
  7. Build and sustain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
  8. Track and report on lead generation, sales pipeline, and activities to management
Experience & Knowledge Required:
  • Proven experience in driving new business growth
  • Passion for sustainability, environmental conservation, and waste management
  • Ability to close sales through multiple channels
  • Direct experience and understanding of the waste management industry
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets of at least £40,000 per month
