If you are all these, and full of innovative ideas on how to motivate the team to achieve excellence in research delivery, we would like you to apply for the post of Deputy Research Delivery Manager.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in strategic planning and management. Furthermore, you will be supported with personal and professional development and ongoing education.

The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust, we strongly encourage and support vaccination as the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues, and patients and service users when working in healthcare settings.

Main duties of the job

You should demonstrate a strong understanding of the challenges of research delivery in the NHS, particularly within mental health & dementia services. You should have in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks, the role of the NIHR RDN, and the metrics that successful Research Delivery Teams are expected to meet. Effective communication skills, good organisational skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
