Who we are:

Goffstown Animal Hospital is looking for a Full-time, Licensed or Experienced Veterinary Technician to add to our team. We are a small animal practice with three wonderful doctors. We are looking for an individual who works well with others and is a positive person to have around. Work-life balance is very important to Goffstown Animal Hospital, and we promote a positive work environment.

Veterinarian Technician Job Responsibilities:

1. Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
2. Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
3. Experience with anesthesia monitoring
4. Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
5. Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
6. Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
7. Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.

Work Hours & Benefits:

We are open 8 am – 5pm, Monday - Friday and Saturdays 8am –12pm. Working two Saturdays a month is required for this position. We have a great program with sister hospitals for extended hours and overtime opportunities.
