Position: In-House Solicitor, Property Development
Salary: Up to £115,000 per annum (DOE) + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior In-House, Property Development Lawyer to join a well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in the South Essex/Greater London region (easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Hertfordshire and London).
This role is ideal for a UK-qualified Solicitor (3+ PQE) with expertise in property development, house building, and social housing, looking to take on a strategic in-house position.
The Role
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will provide expert legal guidance on a range of property and development matters. Your responsibilities will include land acquisitions, disposals, funding agreements, and affordable housing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic legal advice on property development, house building, and social housing.
Support land acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and funding agreements, ensuring compliance and risk management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external solicitors to drive successful development projects.
Advise senior stakeholders on legal risks and commercial decision-making.
About You:
Qualified Solicitor (3 years plus PQE) with a background in property development and ideally social housing experience.
Experience in land acquisitions, disposals, and commercial property transactions.
Private Practice or In-House experience will both be considered.
Strong understanding of compliance and risk management in property development.
Commercially minded, proactive, and confident working with senior stakeholders.
