The eCommerce Beauty team is looking for an eCommerce Trading Assistant to join and support our UK growth, focusing on Beauty. You can be based at our Central London Office or Leicester Head Office, with a competitive salary and benefits.

The UK Trading team drives growth by optimizing online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear, Beauty, and Home. They manage product launches and promotions to maximize sales and brand visibility.

The role

As an eCommerce Trading Assistant in the Beauty team, you will play a key role in expanding our online beauty business. Working closely with the Trading Manager and Beauty Business Manager, you will oversee end-to-end trading activities to enhance sales and profitability, aiming to establish Next as a leading online beauty destination.

Responsibilities include:

• Review sales performance, best sellers, and online metrics to inform website improvements and maximize sales
• Analyze online metrics to identify opportunities for engaging customer experiences and improved conversion
• Utilize trading tools to optimize site navigation, search, and customer journey
• Review search results and pages to improve low conversion rates and reduce bounce rates
• Support promotional activities and collaborate with stakeholders to align on product launches and brand promotions
• Drive marketing initiatives to enhance product appeal online
• Work with product teams to ensure compelling imagery reflects sales trends

This role offers flexible working arrangements: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote from either our London or Leicester offices. Our workplaces are inspiring environments that support work-life balance.

We are seeking candidates with experience in eCommerce trading, especially within the beauty sector, who are analytical, data-driven, communicative, and proactive in challenging the status quo.
