About the role

Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, is seeking talented Development Executives to join our RHA Insurance Services team.

The primary purpose of this role is to identify, attract, and retain new clients in the Haulage & Logistics sector. You will collaborate with existing partners to deliver exceptional service, focusing on expertise, client satisfaction, and market-leading products.

There may also be a requirement to manage a small book of business.

Key responsibilities
  1. Acquire new clients in the Haulage & Logistics industry using our service proposition and tech-enabled risk management
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and find new potential introducers
  3. Develop technical expertise in haulage and logistics to inform product propositions
  4. Provide market-leading risk management services, especially for motor fleet risks
  5. Collaborate with your manager to prepare sales forecasts, targets, and budgets
  6. Achieve sales forecasts and plans, monitoring performance regularly
  7. Generate leads via LinkedIn, cold calling, and partnerships; utilize provided leads
  8. Work closely with account handling and claims teams to ensure high service levels
  9. Identify, recommend, and implement corrective actions as needed
  10. Promote professionalism, expertise, and excellence internally and externally
  11. Support marketing efforts, including content provision and industry event attendance
Knowledge, skills, and experience
  1. Expertise in the UK Commercial Insurance Market
  2. Proven success in the Haulage sector
  3. Existing book of business (not essential)
  4. Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance
  5. Outcome-oriented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
  6. Ability to manage time and prioritize independently
  7. Attention to detail, numerate, and accurate
  8. Contribute ideas and initiatives to the team
