Job Title: New Car Retail Manager

Location: Carlisle

Salary: Basic Salary £35,000+ Bonus - OTE Up To £55,000 + Car + Benefits

Employment Type: Permanent/Full-time, Monday to Friday (working every other weekend plus one day off during the week)

We have an exciting opportunity at our client’s dealership in Carlisle for a Car Retail Manager to join their sales team. You will support the Sales Manager in running the sales department.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all sales enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Analyze departmental profit daily and manage costs
• Manage the sales team and sales processes
• Control profit margins and stock pricing/presentation
• Maximize vehicle and associated product sales and profitability
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer experience
• Achieve KPI targets
• Assist the General Sales Manager in maintaining policies and procedures
• Coach and develop Sales Executives for success
• Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
• Ensure professional customer service by the sales team
• Employ creative marketing strategies to boost new and used car sales

Requirements:

• Experience as a Sales Manager/Business Manager within the motor trade
• Good understanding of new and used vehicle sales
• Experience managing a large, successful sales team
• Strong sales generation abilities
• Current UK Driving License
