Gecko Travel Recruitment are thrilled to be working with this prestigious Travel Management business who are looking for an experienced Out of Hours Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Out of Hours Senior Business Travel Consultant demands a calm, empathetic manner and the ability to provide effective solutions under pressure, especially during disruptions that significantly impact clients and their families. Working outside regular hours, you'll handle urgent, last-minute bookings for Corporate, Media, Entertainment, and Contractor clients, requiring exceptional attention to detail and high standards at all times.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Senior Business Travel Consultant role (ideally in an Out of Hours team) using Sabre GDS is essential to be considered for this role.

The role:

• Respond promptly and professionally to client calls and emails, ensuring polite and efficient communication
• Provide expert guidance on all areas of travel, demonstrating in-depth industry knowledge
• Uphold and maintain the high standard of customer service established by the daytime team
• Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate clearly with both colleagues and clients
• Handle the issuance, re-issuance, and fare recalculations for both international and domestic flights
• Sourcing the best and most cost-effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel, and all ground products

You will have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience working within a TMC
• Fares knowledge, Cat35 and Route Deals
• Competency of IT systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Outstanding organisational skills and excellent customer service & communicative abilities

Additional Information:

• Salary £35-37,500 (depending on experience)
• Discretionary annual bonus based on performance
• Fully remote
• 4 shifts per week, typically 2 midweek and 2 weekend
