A leading technical product distributor is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of industrial adhesive tapes across the Midlands. This role offers a competitive salary, uncapped commission potential, and the chance to shape a new territory with existing clients. Ideal candidates will have a proven sales record in technical products and strong relationship-building skills.
As a consistently growing global business, we are keen to add talent and resources to our UK team. The UK business is a technical product distributor partnering with a wide variety of OEMs. Covering the Midlands, as our Business Development Manager, you'll enjoy new business and account management responsibilities, with experience in selling industrial tapes to OEMs.
BASIC SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Based from home, you'll travel throughout the Midlands. You could live in Northampton, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Peterborough, Derby, or Nottingham.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager, Technical Area Sales Manager - Industrial Tapes to OEMs
Working closely with the Sales Director, the role involves a mix of new business, existing account development, and winning new projects from existing customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Proven track record of selling industrial adhesive tapes into OEMs is essential. Candidates who have sold other technically biased products, such as chemicals, adhesives, or resins, via trials and specification to OEMs, will also be considered.
Must have the tenacity to engage decision-makers and grow a market, with good communication and influencing skills, and the ability to build relationships as project lead times can be long.
