Job Description

The Group Finance Manager is a key member of the high-profile Group Financial Reporting Team based at the company's head office. The team is responsible for all external financial reporting for the Group.

The team is also heavily involved in significant transactions across the Group, including acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring.

Key responsibilities:

1. Participate in activities undertaken monthly to prepare consolidated results and internal reporting through the Group consolidation system (SAP FC).
2. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, internal approval, and delivery of the financial sections of the Half Year external reporting.
3. Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary information for their first-year audit of the company.
4. Support the financial accounting aspects of M&A activity, including collaboration with SSC and Divisional teams and facilitating reporting requirements.
5. Assist in applying IFRS across the Group, providing technical accounting guidance to Divisions, service centres, and other Group functions.

Qualifications:

• Professional qualification (e.g., ACA or ACCA), ideally from a Big 4 firm.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge, including M&A experience.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
