Job Opportunity: Group Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity now exists for a Group Finance Manager to join a cash-rich and investing FTSE 250 company. The successful candidate will be based at a prime Central London location with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is a broad and comprehensive group finance position, offering exposure across the global group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory financial accounting - half-year and annual (IFRS & FRS 101)
2. Produce relevant management accounting and associated analysis
3. Maintain strong financial controls and oversee their continuous improvement
4. Manage group cash flows and related analysis
5. Manage relationships with auditors
6. Group forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
7. Handle multi-currency consolidations
8. Lead variance analysis on group performance against budgets

Candidate Profile

We seek top talent with a strong academic record and formal accountancy qualification (or overseas equivalent), ideally gained within a top 8 accountancy practice. Suitable candidates may be seeking their first move from practice at 2 years post-qualification or more experienced professionals already working in group finance, financial reporting, or budgeting roles seeking a new challenge.
