A Day in the Life of the Enterprise Account Executive:
- Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling, door knocking, needs assessment, proposal development, presentation, negotiation, and post-sales support.
- Negotiate contracts with telecommunications decision makers to achieve revenue growth and retention.
- Manage installation projects with various teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful setup, and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer requests for information, support, proposals, and pricing.
- Support team efforts to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum 5 years' experience selling B2B in a technology environment.
- Proven success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user, large business, and government accounts using relationship management and system sales techniques.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Experience building a client base and selling to C-level executives.
- Knowledge of systems selling, consultative sales, customer needs analysis, and service planning.
- Technical skills related to network design and local access services.
- Product knowledge of switched and dedicated services, and related applications.
- Understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
- Familiarity with marketing principles and tools.
- Decision-making skills and ability to retain customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively in various formats.
- Problem-solving skills and big-picture thinking.
- Basic computer, typing, and math skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Focus and composure during peak periods and challenging situations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:
The base salary ranges from $73,800 to $82,000, plus uncapped commissions, bonuses, and benefits. Targeted annual commissions are approximately $32,400, with potential for higher earnings for overachievement.
