The Premier League's Youth Development team is seeking an Education Curriculum Manager to support the implementation of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP). This long-term plan aims to help young individuals achieve their potential both on and off the field, supporting the development and personal growth of elite players.

Description

The Education Curriculum Manager will lead the planning, development, and implementation of high-quality curricula across various qualifications, including Level 2 NCFE, Level 3 SEP Apprenticeship, Level 3 BTEC, and A-Level qualifications. Responsibilities include coordinating academic calendars, ensuring curriculum design aligns with standards, leading innovative initiatives, supporting quality assurance, and overseeing monitoring and compliance processes.

The Role
  • Curriculum Design and Management: Lead the development of curricula, manage academic schedules, ensure compliance with standards, and foster innovation.
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Support quality assurance processes, monitor scholar progress, oversee assessments, and produce reports.
  • Teaching, Learning, and Staff Development: Monitor teaching quality, support professional development, and promote evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • A Level Virtual School Delivery: Oversee platform use, coordinate events, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
Role Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Understanding of secondary, further, and higher education
  • Experience with BTEC and A Level qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience in quality systems and moderation processes
  • Leadership experience in educational settings
  • Experience working with children and at-risk groups
  • Desirable: experience in football or elite environments, Level 3 Business, ATS
