QA is one of the largest learning services organisations in the UK, developing skills and capabilities for everyone from apprentices to business leaders.

The Curriculum Manager’s purpose is to design and manage a curriculum area across Learning and Apprenticeships to deliver high-quality outcomes for learners and clients. This involves understanding the needs of learners and their employers.

In meeting these needs, the Curriculum Manager will understand customer needs, create business cases, recommend learning propositions and pricing. They will develop industry-relevant, up-to-date content structured to empower learners, embracing digital and blended learning to enhance the learner experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a development plan for the curriculum in their portfolio (IT/Cyber Security).
  • Commission the development of new learning content, including selecting high-quality content authors.
  • Understand learner and employer needs through user research.
  • Develop programme assets to support consistent delivery (such as programme specifications, trainer guides).
  • Ensure maximum re-use of content across QA.
  • Utilise agreed learning methodologies and technologies in programmes.

About you:

  • Ability to design highly engaging and coherent learning programmes.
  • Define and communicate a vision for the curriculum area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and commercial awareness with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience in learning design, teaching, or coaching learners.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure or Cyber Security learning is desirable.
