THE POSITION

In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting the offices of the Deputy Secretary by assisting with quality assurance, human resources, procurement, and administrative tasks. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Officer 1, you will manage administrative tasks across various offices to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities include collaborating with human resources, hiring managers, and leadership to oversee deputate staffing and manage the federally mandated state training coordinator role. You will process checks for licensure and fines for multiple divisions, procure office supplies and IT equipment, reconcile credit card transactions, complete budget sheets, and maintain accountability for the quality assurance cell phone account. Additionally, you will handle travel and training reimbursement requests.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
  • Telework: No telework option for this position
  • Salary: Starting salary may be non-negotiable in some cases

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in office management or staff work, plus a bachelor’s degree, or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training
