We are seeking to recruit an Administration Officer passionate about supporting children with special needs at The Ropemakers’ Academy.
You will work as part of a team responsible for developing and delivering innovative provisions for children not succeeding in mainstream education, requiring a nurturing and positive approach to achieve the best outcomes.
Ideal candidates are devoted, resilient, and able to utilize therapeutic strategies combined with caring, understanding, and nurturing classroom and behaviour management. Experience supporting children in youth support, social care, or mentoring roles is valuable, even if not directly in schools.
If you thrive on challenge and work hard, we invite you to join us. We offer modern facilities, a comprehensive CPD package, and a collaborative, caring staff environment where you can influence our provision for the community.
Working in a special school can be challenging due to students' vulnerabilities and behaviours. A mindset focused on love, care, and kindness to meet their needs is essential. Our core values promote providing love, enabling pupils to flourish, and fostering social justice, community, and identity.
Joining The Ropemakers’ Academy means becoming part of a dedicated family committed to therapeutic practice and creating safe, life-changing opportunities for our learners through innovative teaching and provision.
