The Security Services Group (SSG) is a specialist business unit delivering high-assurance security solutions across the MOD and wider Government Estate. With over 260 highly skilled experts based in the UK, Germany, Cyprus, and Gibraltar, SSG designs, installs, and maintains advanced security systems to protect Defence operations, national security assets, and critical government infrastructure. Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? SSG is seeking a dedicated Administrator to support our London Operations Team in the installation and maintenance of security systems. This role ensures the smooth running of operations by providing professional, efficient, and cost-effective administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Team in efficient tracking of Installation, Maintenance Jobs & Site records.
  • Raising invoicing to SSG customers in accordance with desk notes & relevant contracts and/or Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Raising requisitions using SSG Cash system in respect of parts, access hire, clothing/PPE.
  • Receipting of goods/services received on SSG Cash system.
  • Input approved SSG time sheets on to SSG finance system (SAGE) for operations’ staff.
  • Support the London Operations Team in the efficient running of the regional Office (CASH).
  • Logging calls onto CASH system & allocating calls to Field Technicians (FTs).
  • Closing jobs on CASH system.
  • Job enquiries – provide updates to customers as required on outstanding/completed jobs.
  • Providing filing and archiving duties, maintaining SSG Project Documentation Received Records.
  • Assistance to the day to day running of the Service Desk.

Location

This role is based at Woolwich with occasional travel to other SSG office locations.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience of working in an office-based team with good organisational skills.
  • Prospective applicants ideally should have good IT skills and working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Experience using CASH, SAGE, or similar systems (preferred but not essential).
