Sodexo is seeking an innovative Operations Coordinator to join our team and deliver exceptional operational support for our Soft Services at the prestigious UCL Bloomsbury Campus. In this dynamic role, you will ensure the UCL clients receive services of the highest quality, while working closely with and reporting directly to the Head of Operations. What you’ll do:
  • Provide comprehensive, proactive, and timely administrative support to the Main campus Head of Operations.
  • Present a professional, welcoming first contact to all clients, sub-contractors, staff, etc., via phone, in person, and email.
  • Act as the first point of contact for general cleaning team enquiries.
  • Handle customer enquiries daily, passing queries or requests by email or phone to the relevant personnel (managers, senior management, admin team).
  • Ensure customer complaints are addressed and resolved appropriately.
  • Assist with meeting arrangements, including booking rooms, sending out invitations, and arranging catering if necessary.
  • Liaise with suppliers, report issues, and update the Head of Operations accordingly.
  • Ensure all documentation is stored and filed in line with Sodexo policies.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during busy periods or when staff are on leave.
What you bring:
  • Ability to speak Portuguese and/or Spanish, along with excellent verbal and written English — Essential for the role.
  • Proven success in a similar role.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using IT and technological applications, such as MS Office and Electronic Staff Management systems.
