Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks that keep the nation's infrastructure connected and secure 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Organize traffic management, coordinating with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers about network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power loss issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all seniority levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
