Location: Hybrid Based in Peterborough, with flexible working (average of 3 days/week on-site)

Contract Type: 13-month fixed-term contract

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join the Anglian Alliance.

As part of the Anglian Water Alliance, we aim to create a sustainable and resilient future for water. With an ambitious GBP2.3 billion capital investment in AMP8, we are transforming infrastructure, sustainability, and digital innovation to protect the environment and support growing communities.

What will you be doing as our new HR Business Partner?

In this high-visibility role, you will work closely with senior leaders across the Alliance, acting as a trusted advisor to align people strategies with organisational goals. You will play a key role in supporting high performance, organisational change, and fostering a culture where everyone can thrive.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives.
  2. Lead initiatives related to workforce planning, talent development, and organisational design.
  3. Provide expert support on employee relations and complex HR challenges.
  4. Utilize data and insights to inform decisions and evaluate success.
  5. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all teams.
  6. Coach leaders to enhance their confidence and capabilities in managing their teams.
  7. Collaborate with partner organisations within the Alliance to co-create HR solutions and share best practices.
  8. Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and collaboration.
