Job description

The Global Director, Sales Enablement manages complex RFI/RFP responses and oversees proposal creation and execution. This role involves independent orchestration of proposals, crafting new best-in-class content, curating team content, and ensuring alignment with client needs.

The Director is responsible for guiding project/pitch teams, ensuring quality and efficiency across deliverables, and maintaining integrity in all growth data, including sales and opportunity activities.

The Director works closely with the EU-based global growth team to support initiatives and growth activities throughout the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while driving continuous improvement and innovation. They serve as a trusted point of contact for teams and internally, pushing teams to think critically and collaboratively, and escalating issues when necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Oversee and manage RFIs/RFPs, ensuring alignment with client needs and the highest quality of proposals.
  2. Lead RFI/RFP written responses independently – shape response narrative, author and craft new content, orchestrate and lead team to shape responses ensuring quality and accuracy.
  3. Ensure project oversight to maintain quality and efficiency across large RFIs/RFPs and internal initiatives; collaborate with project managers to improve processes and share learnings.
  4. Foster collaboration and drive critical thinking to address client challenges.
  5. Align proposals and initiatives with business imperatives and client needs, focusing on long-term goals.
  6. Manage cross-functional teams, acting as a trusted leader, managing up and down, and escalating issues as needed.
  7. Apply critical thinking and contribute insights and recommendations during meetings, addressing client needs creatively and effectively.
  8. Serve as a resource within Agency BD on best-in-class BD assets, content, and RFIs/RFPs.
  9. Collaborate with project managers and Account Services to oversee large projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
  10. Continuously refine processes and incorporate client feedback to improve service delivery.
Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proven mastery in content creation, curation, and proposal writing, ensuring high-quality responses and pitches.
  • Ability to synthesize data and provide strategic insights for business development.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and managing complex dynamics to achieve solutions.
  • Proactive approach to anticipating client needs and enhancing the client experience.
  • Independent problem-solving skills with the ability to foster innovative and critical thinking within teams.
  • Proven track record overseeing large projects with focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Strong business acumen with strategic thinking for short- and long-term goals.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with professionalism in client interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or similar qualification).
  • 8-12 years of experience in business development, managing complex proposals and pitches.
  • Experience in large network agencies or AOR/DAOR advertising is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to work in the UK or EU, with international travel as needed.
