Registered Manager - Open your own Children's Home!

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: Up to £50,000

Bonus: £5,000 Welcome bonus, plus 21% of your annual salary

Keys Group are seeking a talented and dedicated Registered Manager to open one of our new Children's EBD homes in Leicester. Join us in our mission to provide high-quality care and support that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care within the home, ensuring outstanding progress for children.
  • Manage quality care services, strategic development, and day-to-day operations of the home.
  • Lead your team and other professionals to provide therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs, aiming for the best outcomes.
  • Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, fostering trusting relationships that promote recovery and growth.
  • Mentor staff, organize work patterns, facilitate care-focused training to QCF level 3, and conduct performance reviews and appraisals.
  • Oversee service development, budget, and financial performance of the home.
  • Ensure safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of children and young people.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of senior-level experience in a similar environment.
  • Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People's workforce.
  • Working towards or achieved Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's management).
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures, such as The Children Act 1989 and children's home regulations.
  • Experience managing budgets and finances.
  • Full driving license is essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly and undertake on-call duties.
