Position Overview

Are you passionate about making a difference in the non-profit sector? Do you have a knack for communication and a desire to engage with members? Our client is seeking a Communications Assistant to join their dynamic team in Camden, London. This is a temporary role offering a chance to contribute to meaningful projects while enhancing your skills.

  • Salary: £14 - £16 per hour

Responsibilities

Your role as a Communications Assistant includes:

  • Providing excellent customer service and engaging with members via email and phone, including processing payments.
  • Responding to member inquiries through our online portal.
  • Assisting with the Admissions Ceremony, including preparation work (on-the-day support is negotiable).
  • Supporting the production and data checking of local census outputs (basic Excel skills required).
Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Has basic Excel skills for data checking tasks.
  • Is enthusiastic about engaging with members and delivering top-notch service.
  • Experience with CRM databases like Salesforce is a plus but not essential; training will be provided.
