We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenBusiness Development Managerto join our growing team. This is a key role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing long-term client relationships in line with our business objectives.

We are looking for 2 New BDM's, one to look after the Greater London Area and one to look after the Oxford (M40/M4) area, to help us build key relationships in these specific areas.
Salary Band is £37 - 42k + commission + car allowance
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to meet (and exceed) sales targets, margin contributions, and factory capacity loading.
- Expand Rollalong’s presence in the region by developing relationships with new and existing clients, focusing on profitable growth.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records and ensure all enquiries are processed through the company’s formal sales process and submitted on time, accurately, and fully documented.
- Promote the benefits of standard Rollalong products and identify opportunities for repeatable, scalable business.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and client meetings to gather project data and ensure accurate project pricing and delivery.
- Manage and progress validated enquiries from concept to order, using the company’s CRM system (HubSpot).
- Advise clients on key regulatory issues including Building Control, fire performance, and Planning Regulations as relevant to modular construction.
- Lead and coordinate internal teams during pre-bid and bid submission stages to produce compelling, competitive proposals.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop compelling sales proposition presentations.
- Identify and attend relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events to support business development and brand positioning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management—ideally within the construction, property or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management with a focus on delivering against deadlines and targets.
- Experience using CRM systems, particularly HubSpot (preferred).
