Our client, a respected Freight Forwarder based in Essex, is seeking an experienced Export Operator. This is a Sea Freight position, and the successful candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the role involves providing operational services to meet customer needs cost-effectively while promoting the company.

The main responsibilities include:

1. Dealing with exports via ocean freight worldwide.
2. Preparing customs entries, Bill of Lading, E-Manifests, and related documentation.
3. Liaising with customers, overseas agents, and related parties.
4. Handling Letters of Credit.

Candidates must be computer literate, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate effective communication at all levels. Good geographical knowledge, organization skills, initiative, adaptability, and flexibility are essential.
