Job Description:

2nd Line Engineer – Wigan – £28,000-£35,000

This MSP is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to resolve more complex IT issues escalated from 1st Line support.

The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with other teams for efficient resolution.

This role is primarily on-site with some remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve escalated 1st Line tickets.
  • Monitor systems to ensure operational performance.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including hardware and software deployment.
  • Collaborate on large-scale IT projects and develop technical strategies.
Key Skills:
  • MSP experience preferred.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and O365.
  • Networking knowledge including DNS and DHCP.
  • Virtualization experience with VMware & Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions.
