Job Purpose and primary objectives:

The PC Support/Digital Workplace team is the front-line team handling End User Incidents and managing all IT-related issues for our clients. Working within a large, multi-disciplinary, multi-site team, the focus is on incident resolution, problem management, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer SCCM 2012 infrastructure, including understanding roles and analyzing service impact.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot overall infrastructure health, including SQL replication issues, WMI fundamentals, and SCCM site components.
  • Application packaging, deployment, and detection logic using SCCM.
  • Scripting in VB and PowerShell to automate tasks and create dynamic collections.
  • Manage configuration items, baselines, OS imaging, upgrades, and task sequences.
  • Patch management, SUGs, ADR, and reporting.
  • SCCM client health, remediation, and SSRS report creation.
  • Software distribution troubleshooting on distribution points.
  • Install and troubleshoot DP and MP roles.
  • Monitor and maintain SCCM site and component statuses.
  • Enroll Windows devices in Intune using Autopilot and experience in co-management.
  • Maintain SLA levels and ensure quality delivery, with flexibility for shifts and holidays.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
  • Configuration Items, baselines, SQL queries, OSD imaging, OS upgrades, task sequences.
  • Patch management, SUGs, ADR, reporting.
  • SCCM client health, remediation, CCMeval, SSRS reporting, custom reports, alerts, subscriptions.
Experience Required:
  • ITIL Foundation certification, preferably ITIL Incident/Problem Practitioner.
  • At least 3 years in a large, complex IT environment.
  • Understanding of business needs from an end-user perspective.
