Commercial Manager (Motor)

Location: Edinburgh (Ideally a few times a week in the office, but open to candidates further afield)

Salary: Up to £60k (Flex for the right candidate) + Exceptional benefits

Our client is seeking a Commercial Manager within their Motor Insurance division. This role is more than typical commercial management; it requires someone who can connect the dots between underwriters and brokers, speaking fluent data and insight, with a focus on performance improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the commercial roadmap for Motor Insurance products, benefiting both customers and the business.
• Challenge norms and drive continuous improvement based on solid data.

What you will bring:

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in the personal lines insurance market (Motor preferred, but open to others).
• Experience working across both underwriters and brokers.
• Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly analytical with a keen eye for data trends, turning insights into actions.
• Experience in performance management, forecasting, and post-implementation reviews.
• Knowledge of risk and controls within a regulated environment.
