The Role: As a Technical Sales Manager for the North & Scotland, your primary responsibility will be to develop specification-led business within the marine & offshore markets. You will sell a bespoke system designed to protect cables & pipes from gas, fire, and water in various applications. This position covers mainly the North East and Eastern Scotland regions. You will engage with decision-makers at all levels, from applications engineers to board members, researching and targeting end users to propose new specifications for cable sealing and protection solutions, primarily for new build projects and retrofit assignments. After the specification is approved by the specifier, you will collaborate closely with EPCs, end users, and contractors to ensure successful project completion.
You will receive support from Internal Sales Engineers, who will assist with market mapping and lead generation through outbound activities. Additionally, the Marketing Team will support you with monthly targeted campaigns. This role is field-based, requiring you to be in the field at least three days per week, with a focus on face-to-face meetings and overnight stays as needed.
