Are you our next Airport Operations Planner?

We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for the airfield operation.

What is the role?

Ensure the operation has a daily plan that matches customer throughput requirements with adequate resourcing levels, adhering to all time and practice agreements within the Security function. Liaise with and influence the Sales and Operations Planning team, scheduling team, and Training teams to ensure our regulatory obligations are met through planning our Security Officer teams. Short-, medium-, and long-term planning are required to support the operation effectively, using knowledge of both Customer and Airport Security Planning. Provide the operational teams with the right plan to keep our CSS measures within limits.

What will you do?

• Create the Customer Security Day plans.
• Ensure the most up-to-date forecast is used and match plans to the forecast.
• Ensure teams are adequately resourced with scheduling to allow lanes the right level of headcount for plans.
• Build the FX requirement 3 weeks out to match operational needs.
• Liaise with multiple GAL teams to support airport requirements.
• Communicate plans to operational teams, incorporating their feedback into daily operations.

Do you have what we're looking for?

• Strong analytical skills with advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel. Experience with Power BI, Python, and Tableau is beneficial.
• Knowledge of time and motion rules in both Airport and Customer Security.
• Ability to tailor data to be meaningful at various levels within the Security operation.
• Ability to capture accurate requirements from stakeholders.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in maintaining Security Incentive programs across the ASO teams.
• Ability to support and influence modelling of roster types and programs using own knowledge.
