Role overview

Are you our next Airport Operations Planner? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for airfield operations.

What is the role?

Ensure the operation has a daily plan that aligns with customer throughput requirements and adequate resourcing, while adhering to all security and time agreements. Collaborate with the Sales and Operations Planning team, scheduling, and training teams to meet regulatory obligations through effective planning of Security Officer teams. Develop short-, medium-, and long-term plans based on knowledge of customer needs and airport security planning, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Key responsibilities

1. Create daily Customer Security plans.
2. Use the most recent forecast to develop and match plans.
3. Coordinate with Scheduling to ensure teams are properly resourced.
4. Prepare FX requirements three weeks in advance to meet operational needs.
5. Collaborate with various GAL teams to support airport requirements.
6. Communicate plans effectively to operational teams, incorporating their feedback.

What are we looking for?

• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with Power BI, Python, and Tableau is beneficial.
• Knowledge of time and motion rules in airport and customer security contexts.
• Ability to tailor data for different stakeholder levels.
• Excellent stakeholder requirements gathering skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in maintaining Security Incentive programs.
• Knowledge to support and influence roster modeling and planning.
