The University of East Anglia is seeking a part-time Project Administrator for the School of Computing Sciences. This role involves supporting the EPSRC UK-India Future Networks Initiative by managing documentation, organizing meetings, and liaising with stakeholders. Salary on appointment will be £26,338 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £29,959 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Administrator to join the School of Computing Sciences. The role involves providing administrative services to the EPSRC UK-India Future Networks Initiative (UKI-FNI) research team, supporting operational, research, and development activities, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and sponsors.
The Project Administrator will work with the Project PI and academic/administrative staff at the University and partner institutions to ensure the timely delivery of documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, financial summaries, and other materials required by funders and stakeholders. Key duties include managing technical workshops, management and advisory committee meetings, events, maintaining oversight of project outputs, and day-to-day monitoring of project activities. You will assist in data collation, analysis, reporting, and recommend communication strategies, acting as a first point of contact for queries from the UKI-FNI project team.
Applicants should have a good standard of education, including passes at GCSE Grades A-C in English & Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications or experience in a relevant role. Experience in preparing committee papers, research notes, taking minutes, organizing meetings, understanding academic research processes related to the Telecoms sector, administering budgets, and possessing excellent communication skills are essential.
This part-time (0.5FTE), fixed-term position is available until 31 January 2029. Travel to partner sites in Surrey, UCL, Kings College, Southampton, and internationally to India for workshops and meetings is required.
