The International Marketing team is responsible for planning and executing multi-territory media campaigns to support the sale of digital products throughout a film’s life cycle, including Premium Windows, EST, and VOD.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brief and oversee multi-territory media plans, collaborating with local teams as needed to tailor campaigns for each market.
- Manage local clients across various territories: present upcoming titles, support in-market activities, promote Universal titles, and approve marketing materials by licensees.
- Represent Universal in industry bodies and trade initiatives within managed territories.
- Work with creative and brand teams in Los Angeles to develop, localize, and approve campaign creative.
- Support budget tracking and financial pacing for titles, ensuring documents are current and accurate.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Account Management to identify strategic opportunities for titles and key accounts.
- Collaborate across business units—Theatrical, consumer products, licensees, and franchise teams—to maximize lifecycle opportunities.
- Work with Social/Influencer teams to determine budget feasibility for activations.
- Brief PR campaigns to agencies as needed.
- Align with Trade Marketing on key customers and work with Creative Services for delivery.
- Monitor campaign performance and manage media agencies to meet plans.
- Complete post-campaign analysis and contribute to filmmaker presentations.
Qualifications
- Interest and familiarity with entertainment, digital media, and content distribution.
- 3+ years of marketing experience, especially in product launches across multiple markets.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven revenue-driving record.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Experience building key multi-territory customer relationships.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexible working hours to coordinate with teams in the UK, Europe, USA, and Asia.
Preferred
- Experience at a studio, label, or digital platform.
- Background in media, marketing account management, or business development with an analytic focus.
- Experience with cross-territory responsibilities.
- Language skills, especially Spanish, Portuguese, or French, are highly desirable.
