Grant Thornton in the UK is seeking an Assistant Manager for Indirect Tax Transformation with a primary focus on e-invoicing. The role is client-facing and involves supporting global e-invoicing projects from design through go-live within our Digital Tax Consulting team.

The position is hybrid with locations in London/Reading/Bristol, requiring strong tax technology experience and ability to work across jurisdictions while building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tax technology or e-invoicing projects in consulting, professional services, or in-house tax tech.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-reporting regimes across jurisdictions.
• Hands-on experience with implementing/integrating at least one e-invoicing or tax platform.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of e-invoicing projects, managing scope, budget, risk, and quality.
• Assist senior team to maintain alliances with third-party technology providers.
• Interpret country-specific e-invoicing mandates and translate into delivery actions for clients.
• Support engagement risk and quality: apply policies, document, ensure standards.
• Identify new e-invoicing opportunities and contribute to proposals and bids.
• Strengthen practice by refining delivery methods and building reusable accelerators.
