Job summary

The StepStone Group is looking for an E-Commerce Performance Specialist to help understand and improve the job seeker experience across the UK. You will work across Product, Marketing, Commercial, Pricing and Analytics to analyze candidate behaviour and marketplace performance.

As an individual contributor reporting to the Head of Market Performance, you will create dashboards, share insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth, optimise marketplace health, and support

Qualifications

• Experience in Ecommerce, Consumer Tech, Digital platforms or marketplaces (B2C).
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and derive business insights.
• Experience analysing engagement data (customers, candidates or users).
• Familiarity with metrics like traffic, conversion, acquisition, retention and marketplace health.
• Ability to translate data into commercial outcomes and growth opportunities.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive, structured approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Marketplace Performance: Track KPIs across candidate engagement, activity, traffic and outcomes.
• Analyse Candidate Behaviour: Use data to identify patterns and opportunities to improve engagement.
• Generate Insights & Recommendations: Translate data into clear actions for optimisation.
• Create Performance Reporting: Build dashboards and reports showing trends and drivers.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Work with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Pricing and Analytics.
• Support Candidate Growth Initiatives: Contribute insights to improve acquisition and retention.
• Conduct Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor external trends and opportunities.
• Communicate Performance Drivers: Explain drivers and the impact of initiatives.
