Job summary

Totaljobs is seeking an E-Commerce Performance Specialist to enhance the UK job-seeker experience. You’ll work at the crossroads of Product, Marketing, Commercial, Pricing and Analytics to analyse candidate behaviour, marketplace performance and consumer trends, reporting to the Head of Market Performance.

You’ll monitor KPIs, generate insights, create performance reports, and collaborate with teams to optimise the marketplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in Ecommerce, Consumer Technology, Digital Subscriptions, Online Platforms, Marketplaces or similar B2C environments.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and uncover meaningful business insights.
• Experience analysing customer, candidate or user engagement data.
• Familiarity with metrics such as traffic, conversion, acquisition, retention, engagement or marketplace health.
• Ability to connect data insights with commercial outcomes and growth opportunities.
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key marketplace KPIs across candidate engagement, application activity, traffic, conversion and customer outcomes.
• Analyse candidate behaviour to identify patterns and opportunities to improve engagement.
• Translate data into clear recommendations that support marketplace optimisation and growth.
• Build regular reports and dashboards that provide visibility into marketplace performance and trends.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Pricing and Analytics teams to understand marketplace dynamics.
• Contribute insights that help improve candidate acquisition, engagement and retention across platforms.
• Monitor external trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities.
• Explain performance drivers to stakeholders and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
