E-Commerce Partner Development Manager - Payments

  • 3 days per week in London office & flexible working from home / hybrid role

Our client is a rapidly expanding fin-tech company, specialising in the facilitation of thousands of payment card transactions daily, serving clients across the United Kingdom, European Union, and the United States as a trusted provider of payment services. We work very hard to optimise payment processes so businesses can focus on what they do best. Our focus has always been providing innovative and cutting-edge payment solutions for merchants including card payment hardware, EPOS systems, EPOS integrations, cash advance, and mobile payments. As our products have developed, we are now offering a range of e-commerce solutions to our customers, which have proved highly popular. We are keen to recruit a Partner Development Manager, who can build an e-commerce partnership strategy for us, establishing our company as an ideal referral partner for e-commerce specialists such as web developers, shopping carts etc.

The role

As a Partnership Development Manager focusing on the e-commerce vertical, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic partnerships within the e-commerce sector to accelerate our company’s growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, and driving revenue through collaborative efforts. Responsibilities
  • Partner Identification: Identify potential e-commerce partners, evaluate their compatibility with our business objectives, and assess the value they can bring to the company.
  • Business Development & Sales: Signing up new partners and onboarding them, managing the relationship & referral channel.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential e-commerce partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related matters.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiating partnership agreements, contracts, and terms that align with the company’s goals and interests.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in e-commerce partnerships or business development roles.
  • Proven track record of creating and converting new partners in e-commerce.
  • Have a strong network of contacts within the B2B e-commerce industry and the ability to leverage these relationships for partnership opportunities.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communications skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
