Job summary

American Trim is seeking an E-Coat Line Operator to support coating operations for heavy-truck bumpers and grilles. The role involves loading from a slow-moving conveyor, unloading finished parts, and monitoring quality per process sheets and SPC data.

The position requires lifting, teamwork, and adherence to safety and PPE requirements, with overtime as needed and first-shift hours from 5:55 AM to 2:00 PM. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, coating, or material handling preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow process sheets, work instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load heavy-truck bumpers and parts onto the conveyor line using proper lifting techniques and lift-assist equipment.
• Unload finished parts from the conveyor and handle products to prevent damage.
• Read and follow process sheets and established procedures.
• Support setup and operation of E-Coat process equipment and related systems.
• Perform quality inspections and record data including SPC documentation.
• Monitor the process and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
