Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Wet Coat Operator to apply resin or paint systems to fiberglass sticks during the pultrusion process. You will ensure even coverage, proper curing, and adherence to quality standards at our on-site facility.

The role requires following detailed instructions, safety procedures, and basic mechanical skills, with exposure to paints, resins, and related processes. Competitive hourly pay and shift differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, coatings, painting, or fiberglass/composites preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic mechanical skills and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate wet coating equipment to apply paint or resin to fiberglass sticks.
• Maintain uniform coating thickness and surface coverage.
• Monitor material viscosity, temperature, and mix ratios.
• Adjust equipment to ensure consistent coating quality.
• Inspect coated products for defects and ensure quality standards.
