Job summary

American Trim is seeking experienced Heavy Truck Stamping Press Operators to support bumper and grille manufacturing. You will set up and operate stamping presses up to 1,600 tons and work with automated equipment to produce large components for semi-trucks.

You will perform die setups and changeovers, monitor equipment and tooling, and conduct quality checks to ensure safety and efficiency. Training is provided and opportunities for career growth exist within a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to learn die setup and changeover procedures.
• Experience with stamping presses, dies and setup operations preferred.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate stamping presses from 90 to 1,600 tons and related automated equipment.
• Perform die setups and changeovers per procedures and production schedules.
• Coordinate and monitor press and work-cell operations for safe, efficient production.
• Conduct visual and dimensional quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Monitor lubrication, dies, part location and scrap buildup; escalate tooling issues.
• Communicate production, tooling and quality concerns to supervision and support teams.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental requirements; maintain clean, organized work area.
• Complete die changes within established timeframes to support schedules.
