Job summary

American Trim is seeking a Heavy Truck Component Assembly Operator to set up and operate manual and automated equipment for manufacturing components used in semi-trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.

The role requires assembling and inspecting products, performing equipment changeovers, staging materials, monitoring production, and basic troubleshooting with the team to meet safety, quality, and output standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn setup and operation.
• Basic tool usage and reading/mathematics skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect heavy-truck components using manual and automated equipment.
• Set up, operate and change over production equipment.
• Stage materials and monitor production, troubleshoot basics.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity documentation.
• Collaborate with team to resolve production issues.
