Job summary

Simply Jobsworth in the DY6 area is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our team. You will plan and coordinate daily transport operations, and manage vehicle and driver schedules.

You will monitor routes, ensure timely deliveries and collections, communicate with drivers and customers, and maintain accurate records while complying with procedures and legislation. This is a full-time, permanent role with a 1 Saturday in 3 pattern, offering stability and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning or logistics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence communicating with drivers and customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with transport planning IT systems.
