Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a Team Support at the Swansea depot for a 12-month, office-based temporary assignment.

You will handle customer calls about new supplies and faults, co-ordinate work with teams and Craftspeople, and manage all associated administration, data input and weekly scheduling, with full training on internal systems.

The role requires clear communication, organisation, and the ability to work to tight timescales within a small team.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have English and Maths GCSE (Grade C/Level 4) or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction/maintenance/replacement work and coordinate team activities.
• Coordinate the team’s response to network faults.
• Respond to customer enquiries verbally and in writing.
• Assist the Team Manager with work programming.
• Input data into the appropriate data base as support to the Field Teams.
• Assist other Team Members as required.
