Job summary

Robert Barclay Academy is seeking a friendly Sports Lettings Assistant on a casual contract to support the Site Manager with external lettings of the school's facilities. The role includes evening and weekend shifts and requires reliability and a customer‑focused approach. Hourly rates are £10.85 (Under 21) or £12.71 (Over 21) plus Holiday Pay.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and efficient team player.
• Reliable in shift work and bookings.
• Able to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Unlock and lock the Sports Centre correctly and manage keys/alarm codes.
• Carry out safety checks and ensure fire doors are unobstructed.
• Clean changing rooms, toilets and main hall as needed.
• Ensure hirers have correct equipment and footwear and return items in good condition.
• Liaise with Site Manager about issues, damages or repairs.
• Prevent overrun of bookings to protect the next booking.
• Liaise with hirers and potential new lettings.
• Follow evacuation procedures in emergencies.
