Job summary

The Balcarras Trust invites applications for a Casual Lettings and Facilities Assistant at The High School Leckhampton. You will support lettings, keep the premises clean and safe, and be available for early starts and weekend bookings.

Role requires reliable, customer-focused individuals who can manage access, perform basic checks, and assist with setting up sports equipment and spaces as needed.

Qualifications

• Flexibility in working hours including evenings and weekends.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational abilities for managing lettings and facilities.

Responsibilities

• To look after school lettings, ensuring the building is clean, tidy and well maintained.
• To be responsible for the opening and closing school facilities for lettings.
• To act as a keyholder with locking up duties for the school and to remain on-site throughout customer bookings.
• To carry out vital checks as necessary and light cleaning/tidying after lettings.
• The setting up and clearing away of sports equipment, tables and chairs and other porterage as required.
• To provide great customer service and communication to customers hiring facilities.
• To ensure that facilities are serviced and undertake any emergency cleaning tasks as directed.
