Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Secondary Cover Supervisor to support lessons across South Gloucestershire schools. You will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, deliver pre-prepared materials, and maintain a positive, safe learning environment.

This flexible supply role offers exposure to multiple schools, with daily pay and opportunities for long-term contracts, local to you, supporting student engagement and classroom continuity.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring students remain engaged with their work.
• Maintaining a positive, safe and productive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies and expectations.
• Supporting students with their learning and encouraging positive participation.
• Liaising with teaching staff and school leaders where appropriate.
