Job summary

PUMA UK is seeking a proactive retail professional to lead store operations across its Manchester, Batley, and Dublin locations. You will drive sales, manage stock, and ensure exceptional customer service on the sales floor, while maintaining visual merchandising standards.

You will collaborate with team members, analyze reports, and uphold safety and company policies. The role emphasizes independent work and strong communication within the team.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve sales, KPIs, and profitability goals.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and engagement on the sales floor.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Inspect goods preparation, labeling, pricing and display per guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels, perform inventory counts, and ensure product availability.
• Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Foster effective communication within the team and with other departments.
• Develop product knowledge and manage sales of related items.
• Assist customers, resolve conflicts and upsell where appropriate.
• Manage stock on the sales floor, ensuring sizes and styles are available.
• Operate retail software and POS systems proficiently.
• Adhere to safety, hygiene standards and company policies.
• Show self-leadership, work independently and manage personal challenges.
