Job summary

PUMA SE invites applications for a dynamic retail position at its UK stores. You will drive customer service, contribute to store presentation, and support stock and POS operations across our Manchester, Batley and Dublin sites.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment focused on achieving sales targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Prior retail experience and strong communication skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve sales, KPIs, and profitability goals.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and engagement on the sales floor.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures; pre-sale preparation of goods, including checking names, quantities, completeness, prices, labeling compliance, unpacking, and inspecting the appearance.
• Arrange and display goods according to the company's international rules; monitor availability of goods in the trade section, check quality, expiration dates, labeling and pricing.
• Manage stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and ensure product availability on the sales floor.
• Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, and provide insights to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Foster effective communication within the team and with other departments.
• Understanding the purposes, properties, quality, care rules, and prices of the products; upsell substitutions and related products.
• Providing high standards of customer service and engagement on the sales floor, assisting customers in choosing products, and resolving conflicts.
• Manage stock levels on the sales floor and ensure sizes and styles are available for customers.
• Proficiency in retail software and POS systems.
• Adhering to safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Ability to work independently and manage own emotions and challenges.
