Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, seeks a Customer Service Assistant for its Malvern store. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, delivering excellent customer service, stocking shelves, and handling payments while maintaining the store’s appearance.

You will engage with customers to improve service, follow safety and policy procedures, and may cover shifts in absence of leaders. Training emphasizes safe and welcoming shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a helpful attitude.
• Experience with cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stock shelves and maintain store appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Stock shelves and process payments at tills.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.
• Clock in and out to ensure accurate pay for shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and think 25 when serving age-restricted items.
• Assist across store areas including online, tills, replenishment and stock routines.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events when needed.
• Possibly run the shift in the absence of Shift Leader/Store Manager.
